I am Owain Jones
I am a 28 year old teacher of Social Studies. I am from the UK but currently live in Mexico. I consider myself a citizen of the world rather than one particular country. I believe strongly that it is an obligation of governments to help their citizens who are most vulnerable. I am worried about the future of the planet, but speaking to people around the world gives me reassurance in the kindness of the human spirit. I became a teacher because I wanted to help people who were less fortunate than me. I don't believe I will ever be satisfied in this respect, but I will never stop trying.
